William Ernest Edward Burrows was born in Sawley, Derby. He served during the Great War with the 2nd Battalion, King’s Own Scottish Borderers on the West Front. Private Burrows was killed in action, 9 April 1917, and is buried in the Bois-Carre British Cemetery, Thelus, Pas de Calais, France.
John Jepson was born in Blackburn, Lancashire. He served during the Great War with the 2nd Battalion, Gordon Highlanders on the Western Front. Lance-Corporal Jepson was killed in action, 18 June 1915, and is commemorated on Le Touret Memorial, Pas de Calais, France.
