An accompanying extract from Captain W. A. Morgan’s notes shows four men of the regiment serving with Army Telegraphs at the Relief of Chitral 1895. It is probable that he was serving in a similar capacity on the North-East Frontier Expedition of 1891 which is rare to British troops.
