Royal Irish Constabulary Victorian Period Officer’s Sword, the 82 cm bright blade by ‘Sexton & Sons, Dawson St., Dublin’, the blade etched with the crown over an oval strap ‘Royal Irish Constabulary’ enclosing the Maid and Harp and shamrock sprays, crowned ‘VR’ cypher and with presentation panel ‘E.P.T. from R.G.R. Chichester’, wire bound fish skin grip, triple bar steel hand guard incorporating crowned stylised Harp, together with its steel scabbard, minute area of the fish skin hand grip lacking and one throat screw on the scabbard otherwise very good condition £600-800
