Royal Irish Constabulary Victorian Period Officer’s Sword, the 83 cm bright blade with spear point by ‘McComas & Son, Lower Sackville St., Dublin’, the unfullered blade etched with a QVC over an oval ‘Royal Irish Constabulary’ enclosing the Harp and Maid and shamrocks, crowned ‘VR’ cypher and panels of scrolling foliage, three bar steel hilt incorporating the crown and a stylised Harp, wire bound fish skin grip in its steel scabbard, very good condition £600-800
