The St. Helena Regiment Officer’s Helmet Plate c. 1878, a fine quality all gilt example, the crowned eight pointed star back plate with laurel overlays and a circular strap ‘St. Helena Regiment’ enclosing the VR cypher on a domed gilt ground, two loop fasteners, slight buckling to three of the star points otherwise very fine condition £300-400
