Extract from ‘C Coy Notes, Dorset Regimental Quarterly’, March 1937:

‘CSM Eaton, L/Sgt Davidson and L/Cpls Stephenson and King left us at Sialkot to carry out annual training with the 1st Divisional Provost Company at Rawalpindi but no sooner had they got there than the Kwaisora Valley operations started and they were sent off to take part. We hope they are enjoying themselves and will annex another ‘gong’.’
