John Kearney is also entitled to the Turkish Crimea medal, the New Zealand medal 1845-66 and the L.S. & G.C. medal. He received severe gunshot wounds to the right arm and left leg in the action at Te Ranga, 21 June 1864. All medals and clasps confirmed in Well Done The 68th by John Bilcliffe.
