Military General Service 1793-1814, 4 clasps, Albuhera, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Toulouse (T. Redford, H. Arty.) pawnbroker’s marks to edge at 3 o’clock, clasp carriage refurbished, minor edge bruising, very fine £1000-1200

Provenance: Glendining, July 1928.

Thomas Redford was born in Pembury, Lancaster. He attested for the Royal Artillery at Chester in June 1803. Redford served as a Driver with Lieutenant-Colonel May’s H Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, at Waterloo. He was discharged 30 April 1823, having served 20 years and 30 days.
