D.C.M. London Gazette 17 April 1918:
‘For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He has rendered valuable service during a long period, making his influence felt throughout the battalion. His courage and coolness in action have been most marked.’
Thomas Arthur Stuart served with the B.E.F. in France from 13 August 1914.
