Christopher Leslie served during the Great War with the 1/1st Fife & Forfar Yeomanry in the Gallipoli theatre of war from 26 September 1915. He subsequently served with the Machine Gun Corps, before advancing to Warrant Officer and transferring to the Royal Engineers.
