The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, O.B.E. (Military) Officer’s 2nd type breast badge, silver-gilt; British War and Victory Medals (2. Lieut. F. Hevey.); 1939-45 Star; Burma Star; Defence and War Medals 1939-45, with M.I.D. oak leaf; Efficiency Decoration, G.VI.R., 2nd issue, reverse officially dated 1950, with integral top ‘Territorial’ riband bar, the two stars plated, otherwise very fine (8) £200-240

Francis Hevey served in France as a Corporal (No. 24010) in the Royal Garrison Artillery from 9 March 1915, and is entitled to the 1914-15 Star. He was commissioned on 23 November 1917.
