Alfred Etheridge, 13th Battalion Canadian Infantry (Royal Highlanders of Canada), was killed in action on 19 April 1916, aged 23 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. He was the son of Alfred George and Mary Elizabeth Etheridge.
