Edward Crossland was born in Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire, and attested for the Lancashire Fusiliers at Buxton, Derbyshire. He served during the Great War with the 2nd Battalion on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 19 February 1916. He has no known grave, and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.

Harold Kay attested for the Lancashire Fusiliers at Bury, Lancashire, and served during the Great War with the 3rd/5th Battalion, Territorial Force on the Western Front. He died of wounds on 19 March 1917, and is buried in Bethune Town Cemetery, France.

George Wright was born in Wellington, Shropshire, and attested for the Lancashire Fusiliers at Manchester. He served during the Great War with the 2nd/5th Battalion on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 31 July 1917. He has no known grave, and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
