Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 3 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal (33671 Pte. P. Beechey. 43rd. Coy. Imp: Yeo:) edge bruise, nearly extremely fine £70-90

Percival Beechey was born in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, in 1880 and attested for the Imperial Yeomanry on 4 February 1901. He served with the 43rd (Suffolk) Company, 12th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry in South Africa during the Boer War from 30 March 1901 to 1 August 1902, and was discharged at Aldershot on 9 August 1902, after 1 year and 187 days’ service.
