Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 3 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal (28024 Tpr: B. Walker. 33rd. Coy. Imp: Yeo:) nearly extremely fine £70-90

Bernard Walker was born in Brough, Yorkshire, in 1881 and attested for the Imperial Yeomanry at Doncaster on 18 February 1901. He served with the 33rd (Royal East Kent) Company, 11th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry in South Africa during the Boer War from 14 March to 19 December 1901, and was discharged at Shorncliffe on 19 January 1902, after 336 days’ service.
