12th (Prince of Wales’s Royal) Lancers Decorative Dress Sabretache; Sudan Defence Force Hall Marked Silver Head Dress Badge, the first item 26.5 x 27 cms has a red cloth face with bullion thread and silk decoration comprising the crown, crossed lances, Prince of Wales’s crest and motto, Sphinx/Egypt with gold lace border, the reverse with a soft leather bag in red moroccan, three carrying straps with D rings, probably made for a page boy or similar. The Sudan Defence Force badge of standard format SDF within leaf sprays is hall marked Birmingham 1925, complete with original pin fastener; together with a post 1902 other ranks white metal cap badge of the Volunteer Artillery and a worn out WO2’s worn out rank badge in brass, good condition except where mentioned (4) £100-150
