Frank William Fathers was born in Long Buckby, Northamptonshire, in 1881, and attested for the Worcestershire Imperial Yeomanry on 18 November 1904, transferring to the Territorial Force on 7 April 1908. he served as a Shoeing Smith Corporal with the Worcestershire Yeomanry during the Great War in the Egyptian theatre of War from 20 April to 24 September 1915, and was discharged ‘Time Expired’ on 6 April 1916. He died in Stourport, Worcestershire, on 4 July 1964.

George Wise Cooper Shepherd was born in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, in 1893 and served with the Worcestershire Yeomanry during the Great War in the Egyptian theatre of War from 24 April 1915. Post-War he served as treasurer to Stourport Urban District Council, and died in Leicester on 21 June 1943.
