Only 45 clasps issued for Juba River 1893, all to H.M.S. Blanche, including one award to a Lieutenant in the Italian Navy, one African interpreter and four seedies, the names of all recipients being recorded in Lieutenant P. Vaughan Lewes’ despatch published in the London Gazette of 12 December 1893.
