Crimea 1854-56, 3 clasps, Alma, Balaklava, Sebastopol (John Williamson. 42nd Regt.) contemporary engraved naming; Turkish Crimea 1855, British issue (John Williamson. 42nd Regt.) engraved as before, fitted with Crimea suspension, light edge bruising and contact marks, otherwise nearly very fine (2) £260-300

1197 Private John Williamson was twice wounded before Sebastopol, 11 July and 19 August 1855, and severely wounded in the final attack on the Redan, 8 September 1855. It should be noted that there are two other men of this name shown on the medal rolls. Sold with copied discharge papers.
