21st (Empress of India’s) Lancers, Officer’s Cap Badge c1898. An excessively rare example of the first pattern cap badge (KK794), in die-cast copper gilt, the lower halves of the lance pennons may have had a coating of silver when made, two original loop fasteners, very good condition £240-340
