1st (King’s) Dragoon Guards Officer’s Undress Sabretache Badge c1816-1840. A very fine and rare example in die-stamped copper-gilt, a crowned eight pointed star bearing the Garter Proper, this encloses the script capitals “KDG’ lodged within laurel sprays, across the base of the laurels, ‘Waterloo’, the plate retains all eight fastening loops and near 100% original fire-gilt, very fine condition £400-600
