Louis Charles Champanac was awarded the M.M. in War Office List No. 49 of 1 December 1919.
Sold with three original documents, comprising French General Orders announcing the awards of his M.M. and Croix de Guerre, the latter dated 14 May 1919, and Verdun Commemorative Medal certificate, which reveals he had earlier served in the 170th Infantry Regiment; together with copied research and related correspondence.
