Memorial Plaque (2) (William Wernham; George Spragg) last with verdigris, nearly very fine (2) £50-70

William Wernham was born in Boxford, Berkshire. He served during the Great War as a Gunner with ‘B’ Battery, 103 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, and died of wounds, 8 June 1917. Gunner Wernham is buried in the Mendinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium.

George Spragg was born in Worcester, and served during the Great War with the 3rd Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment. He was killed in action, 3 September 1916, and is buried in the Lonsdale Cemetery, Authuille, Somme.
