Frederick George Williams was born in Highbury, London, on 8 January 1913, and served for 7 years with the Somerset Light Infantry from 2 September 1931 until 1 September 1938. He enlisted in the Palestine Police on 17 December 1938, and served during the Second World War in Nazareth, Haifa, Gaza, and Jaffa. Advanced Sergeant, he resigned on 29 January 1946
Sold together with copies of the recipient’s attestation and service papers, including a photograph of the recipient.
