A late 19th century Russian diamond and ruby double heart brooch, the two entwined hearts set with graduated old-cut diamonds and cabochon rubies, gold mounted, the pin stamped for St Petersburg, 56 zolotoniks, (Russian State marks for pre-1899), maker/work master’s mark partially struck, possibly ‘R(?) S’ or ‘K(?) S’, in red leather gilt tooled fitted case by S. J. Phillips, brooch width 2.5cm. £2000-2500
