Trotin, balloon over Paris, rev. legend in six lines, named (Lt de la Montagne), 60mm (Malpas 103); Italy, Turin Exposition, 1884, a bronze medal, balloon over landscape, rev. legend, 35mm (Malpas 119) [2]. Both extremely fine; with means of suspension (£120-150)

The landscape on the second medal is the coastline at Nice, where Mr. E. Godard Aine had also held captive flights
