Victoria (1837-1901), Boer War, ‘Absent Minded Beggar’, a small silver medal (BHM 3680), 23mm; a white metal badge with similar image, 35mm; ‘Victory Liberty and Peace’, white metal, unsigned, medallic busts of Victoria, Roberts, Buller and Kitchener, rev. angel flies over cannon, 38mm; Birmingham Peace Celebrations, 1902, a gilt white metal presentation medal, with riband and bar, 38mm; a French brass medallet of Kruger, 1900, 28mm [5]. Generally very fine, several scarce (£80-120)

It seems interesting that the French should be striking medals, ‘Aux Boers - Aux Heroiques Defenseurs de la Liberte au Transvaal’
