Henry VIII (1509-1547), Posthumous coinage, Halfpence (3), Tower, Roman lettering, pellet stops, open forks, 0.28g/7h (Whitton c; N 1889; S 2426), Canterbury, Roman lettering, pellet stops, open forks, 0.35g/8h (Whitton b; N 1890; S 2427); York, Roman lettering, pellet stops, rev. mixed lettering, e of eborac retrograde, cross ends pattée, 0.29g/4h (Whitton b; N 1891; S 2428) [3]. First good very fine, well centred on a full flan and rare thus, second with small striking split at 3 o’clock and collector’s ink mark on reverse, otherwise fine and rare, last with reverse slightly off centre, nearly very fine (£180-200)
