Charles I (1625-1649), Exeter mint, Halfcrown, Gp III, undated, mm. rose, sash tied in bow, rev. oval scroll-garnished shield, pellets around, 14.02g/4h (Bull 660/14; Besly J14; SCBI Brooker 1027ff; N 2550/1; S 3065). Slightly irregular flan, otherwise good very fine and attractively toned, probably much as struck £700-800
