LANCASHIRE, Leyland, Golden Hill School, a silver medal for Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee, 1887, by W.H. Watts, names of the founder and current Master and Mistress, rev. names of the eight trustees, 44mm, 38.00g (W & E p.100 [not seen]). Matt surfaces, extremely fine £40-60

In 1887 the current Master was John de Pennington (Head Master from 1870 to 1899) and the current Mistress was Annie McGregor
