A 19th century circular blond tortoiseshell and gold mounted box, the pull off cover inset with a reverse painted and gilded glass panel, backed with painted scene on paper, in the style of ‘verre églomisé’, bordered by cut steel bands and repeating gold decoration, probably French, unmarked, (box in damaged condition), contained in circular period box, lined with French printed papers, diameter of box 8cm.
