Peter Watt was born in Edinburgh and attested for the 2nd Dragoons on 27 September 1853. He served with the Regiment in the Crimea, as part of the Heavy Brigade, and was additionally entitled to the clasp for Alma. He died on board ship on 11 December 1854.
