Canadian Memorial Cross, G.V.R. (2041545 Pte. W. F. Henderson) good very fine £80-120

William Forbes Henderson was born in Kingston, Ontario, on 23 December 1895 and attested for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force on 31 March 1917, having previously served for 26 months in the 36th Battalion. He died of sickness at home on 22 May 1921, and is buried in Hamilton Cemetery, Ontario, Canada.

Sold together with an unrelated original ‘Red River 1870’ clasp to the Canada General Service Medal 1866-70.
