Memorial Plaque (John Theodore Alland) good very fine £50-60

John Theodore Alland was born in London, and served as a Fitter Staff Sergeant, London Heavy Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery, during the Great War on the Western Front from 16 March 1915. He died, aged 40, on 5 May 1917 at the Military Hospital, Magdalen Camp, and is buried in Winchester (Magdalen Hill) Cemetery, Hampshire.
