John Bell was born in Lancashire, and attested for the 36th Reserve Battalion, Canadian Infantry, in England on 3 November 1915. He transferred to the 1st Battalion on 31 December 1915, and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front. He died of wounds on 14 June 1916 and is buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.

William Lester Burton attested for the 20th Battalion, Canadian Infantry, at Toronto, Ontario, on 11 November 1914, and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front. He was killed in action on 15 September 1916. He has no known grave, and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial, France.

William Pierce Rogers attested for the Canadian Field Artillery at Valcartier, Quebec, on 24 September 1914, and served with them throughout the Great War. He died of disease on 27 January 1921, and is buried in Brighton (The Downs) Cemetery.
