Army of India 1799-1826, 4 clasps, Laswarree, Capture of Deig, Nagpore, Bhurtpoor (Trooper Dewan Sing. 6th L.C.) short hyphen reverse, naming officially engraved in running script, pawn broker’s mark by claw, minor edge bruising, otherwise attractively toned, nearly extremely fine and rare £3000-4000

Whitaker notes in his catalogue, ‘The 6th Light Cavalry was a very distinguished regiment. It was engaged, among other actions between the years 1803 and 1826, at Laswarree, Battle of Delhi, Capture of Deig, Nagpore, Bhurtpore, and had the medal with clasps for them.’
