Galway Militia Officer’s Shako Plate 1855 Pattern, a superb example in silver plate, crowned star pattern back plate with mounts comprising a title circle ‘Galway Militia’, in the centre on a domed ground the Harp and Maid, complete with two loop fasteners, the bottom star point officially shortened for wear on the 1861 shako, very fine condition £500-700
