Cecil Kessler was born in Johannesburg on 5 November 1917, and was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the South African Pay Corps on 1 March 1943.
Sold with copy attestation papers where he gives his religion as ‘Jewish.’

Abraham Isaac Berelowitz was born in the Transvaal on 24 April 1911, and enlisted in the South African Forces on 6 February 1942. He served during the Second World War with the South African Tank Corps, the Military Mounted Police, the South African Engineer Corps, and the South African Infantry Corps (Volunteers). He was wounded on 23 March 1942, suffering multiple lacerations. He was finally discharged on 25 March 1946.

Julius Ralph Goldberg was born in Maclear, Transkei, on 8 November 1915, and enlisted into the General Service Corps on 10 July 1940. Attached to the 4th Battalion, Native Military Corps, he was advanced to Staff Sergeant, and transferred to the 4th Battalion Native Military Police on 12 December 1940. He undertook a Quartermasters Course in January 1941, and was promoted Warrant Officer Class II on 1 July 1941. He transferred to the Central Army Training Corps on 2 July 1943, and was discharged on 18 September 1943. He died at Durban on 25 September 1981.
