Three: Captain M. N. Dove, 16th Rajputs, late Leicestershire Regiment

Maurice Neville Dove was born in Leicester on 21 February 1892, the son of Russian emigrants, and was commissioned into the Leicestershire Regiment. He served during the Great War on the Western Front from 3 February 1916, before transferring to the 16 Rajputs (The Lucknow Regiment) on 23 November 1918, and was promoted Captain Company Officer on 6 February 1920, serving during operations in Waziristan. Recalled for service during the Second World War in the Royal Army Service Corps, he was confirmed in the ranks of Captain again on the 17 June 1946. He died in Bournemouth in 1981.
He is confirmed as being in the British Jewry Book of Honour.
