1914-15 Star (R-544 Pte. F. Beasley. K.R. Rif: C.); British War and Victory Medals (R-544 Pte. F. Beasley. K.R. Rif. C.); Defence Medal, mounted as worn, together with the recipient’s Boy Scouts Service Medal, gilt, the reverse inscribed ‘F. Beasley 9.3.49’, very fine (5) £70-90

F. Beasley, a native of Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, attested for the King’s Royal Rifle Corps in September 1914, and served with ‘D’ Company, 12th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 23 July 1915, as part of 20th Division. He was twice wounded, on 9 November 1915 and 17 July 1916, and was discharged as medically unfit on 11 May 1917.
