Army Service Corps Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet c. 1902-14, the skull complete with all gilt metal fittings, the frontal plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black velvet the ‘ASC’ monogram in silver, the plate probably original to the helmet but the quilted silk lining is sewn down, buff leather sweatband, minor repairs to small moth holes, the sweatband with grub damage likewise the lining of both peaks otherwise reasonable condition, together with a metal carrying tin (2) £200-300
