Princess Charlotte of Wales’s (Berkshire Regiment) Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet, the skull complete with all gilt metal fittings, the frontal plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of red velvet (worn) a Stag under a tree in silver no title scroll below nor any evidence of such a scroll being fitted, the plate not original to the helmet, buff leather sweatband with crimson silk lining, no gilt remains to the spike, quadrant, chin chain etc., some damage to the leather trim on the rear peak, grub damage to the leather sweatband and to the green baize linings of both peaks otherwise in sound condition £340-440
