George Albert Wilson enlisted in the Indian Ecclesiastical Establishment as a Junior Chaplain in April 1926, and was advanced to Senior Chaplain at Bangalore on 29 March 1938. He subsequently served as Rector of Thorny, Cambridgeshire.
