1914 Star, with clasp (Rev. M. P. Mc. Cready. A.C.D.); British War and Victory Medals, with M.I.D. oak leaves (Rev. M. P. Mc. Cready.); together with an official issue duplicate set identically named, the BWM on the original set partially officially corrected, the first group very fine, the duplicate group slightly worn in parts, therefore nearly very fine (6) £400-500

Maurice Percy McCready served as an Anglican Chaplain to the Forces during the Great War, and was Mentioned in Despatches. After the War he was advanced Chaplain to the Forces 2nd Class, whilst based in Malta, and was appointed Assistant Chaplain General, Northern Command, with the rank of Chaplain to the Forces 1st Class, on 12 December 1925. He was appointed Honorary Chaplain to H.M. the King on 13 May 1932.
