Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Defence of Ladysmith, Orange Free State (5260 Pte. R. Dunn, Glouc: Regt.) housed in a wooden fitted box with the initials ‘R. D.’ scratched onto the lid, edge bruising, good very fine £120-160

Robert Dunn was born in Bristol in 1877 and attested for the Gloucestershire Regiment at Bristol on 14 March 1898. He served with the regiment in South Africa from 12 October 1899 to 24 August 1900, and then subsequently in Ceylon and India.

Sold together with the recipient’s Small Book with canvas cover and contained in a leather pouch, these all in slightly distressed condition.
