Peter Stock joined from England on 6 February 1858, as an Artificer Wheelwright, and served with the Field Force under Major Bennett and Sir James Outram at the Alum Bagh. Six Artificers are shown on the roll but Stock’s award is unique to the regiment with the single clasp for Lucknow.
