William Herbert Waldron was born in Kidderminster, and attested for the Royal Sussex Regiment at Bexhill, Sussex. He served with the 13th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front; was awarded the Military Medal; and died of wounds on 1 August 1917. He is buried in Brandhoek New Military Cemetery, Belgium.
