France, Denys Puech, 1926, a cast uniface gilt-bronze portrait medal by L. Bazor, bust right, 116mm (cf. CGMP p.31) [2]. About very fine, with remants of glue on the back (£60-80)

Denys Pierre Puech (1854-1942), sculptor and medallist from Cavernac, was a frequent exhibitor at the Salons of the Société des Artistes Française. Later in life he became director of the Académie de France in Rome.
