Cheltenham College, a silver award medal by Martin & Co, frontal elevation of the College, rev. engraved (Military & Civil Department, Silver Medallist, 1887), edge named (H.A. Cameron), 45mm (Taylor –); together with other medals (2, one plated) [3]. Very fine; one in fitted case (£40-60)

Col H.A. Cameron, CIE (1871-1929); attended Cheltenham College, 1884-7; Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, 1887-9; served with Royal Engineers, 1889-1920, including the Dongola Expedition, 1896 and in the Great War; general manager and engineer-in-chief of the Darjeeling and Himalaya Railway, 1924-7.
