Hammer Price:
£110

Miscellaneous, HMS Victory, an associated love token, a George III Halfpenny engraved (Liddey Iohn Tindal God Preserve The Victory), two hearts overlapped and pierced by two arrows below, rev. a three-deck first rate man-of-war under sail and flying pennants. Surfaces slightly corroded but engravings distinct, rare and interesting (£80-120)

Provenance:
Found near Chatham, Kent.

HMS
Victory was laid down at Chatham and initially known as ‘The Victory.’ John Tindal did not serve on HMS Victory at Trafalgar, but was apparently earlier associated with the ship in some way
